went union yesterday and tried on my new shoe. don't know if it's the floor that's super sticky or my shoe sole problem cuz like totally cannot do more than one turn properly and can't spin. needless to say it was an absolutely sucky dance night since i mostly thrive on being able to turn/spin smoothly and finish on time. it's the sense of accomplishment and it contributes to the enjoyment of the dance. so didn't dance much since i feel like i can't dance properly but there's still a few regulars whose dances i rarely fail to enjoy and those dances made me feel better. =)
the floor was pretty empty for the argentina vs germany match. that was pretty boring; even if wanna dance also no partner. haha. left quite early and had prata near des's house. mm.. sometimes people just surprise you. i guess one can never fully know a person.
anyway i still prefer my old shoes. or perhaps i just need to powder the new one so not so sticky.
had another performance today at cck lot1. was quite nervous/stress cuz it was rueda and i've pretty much forgot my rueda so depending on guy's lead and scared would make mistake. lucky not a lot of peope watching and since rueda's a circle, and i was quite stress about doing things correctly, i didn't give much audience awareness (like eye contact and smile etc) but nvm. =x
r came down but we had finished alr then just go macs eat.
mm... don't know if should go for m'sia fest. i think a bit scary and i'll be quite dependent on others and not sure about rooming arrangements and costs etc. plus still need to make passport. and my partner's not going. and my mum said no. and i'd miss the acad briefing for econ and the optionl waiver test for stats (but don't think i'm taking it?) and the SLP team building camp run 1 since we'll only be back in the afternoon on the 7th.
think i'm supposed to take the elw thingy but so far no letter and i'm supposed to email them by 1 jul which had passed abt 1 hr ago if i think i need to take yet no letter by 25 jun. erm.. should i email them or just pretend i dunno and hope i dun have to go? =x
wonder if it would come back to bite me in the back if i don't... haiz
ETA: think i better check with them. scally the letter got 'lost in the mail' (which happens so often at my previous workplace. -_-)
